2mm Golden Bocce Ball Court Decomposed High-Speed Surface - Bulk PriceThe recreational use of an Italian Bocce Ball Court provides an excellent way to spend afternoons and evenings having backyard fun with family and friends.
For those players who are in a particular use or want to have large to full size 13 x 91-foot courts with a hard and very fast playing surface. Our specially screened 2mm red decomposed granite can be used largely to full size for bocce players to enjoy a very fast hard smooth surface. Balls moving at high speeds like this really need full-size courts ranging from 70 to 91 feet long and 10 to 13 feet wide. The Golden D. G. 2mm fines are blended with 12 pounds of Dee Gee Stabilizer per ton of material. We suggest adding the same amount of Dee Gee Stabilizer each year after winter rains during regular maintenance practices. Gold Decomposed Granite Surface Base The 2mm Golden D. G. is best applied to our Gold Decomposed Granite 3/8" minus and should be used as 3 to the 4-inch base material for red bocce ball courts. The use of other colors and types of the base material will likely result in discoloration of the playing surface over time. There are many D.G. materials that are red in color but most are just red dirt, not true quartz decomposed granite. True decomposed granite drains very well, and for this reason, our Gold D. G. base should be installed over the Class II Permeable Road Base. The final layer will be a specially screened 2mm Golden Bocce Ball Decomposed Granite High-Speed Surface.
Shipping In California, Arizona, and Nevada blended materials are shipped bulk amounts up to 25 tons. Smaller orders in 2,000 and 3,000-pound SuperEarth-sacks and can be shipped anywhere in the USA and Canada.
Tons vs. Yards and Square Feet. In most cases, we charge by the ton and we have the receipts from the scale house at the quarry to show upon request. Materials sold by the yard tend to have very inaccurate amounts in the trucks. Amounts depend on the size of the loader bucket, how well the material was scooped up and who was supervising the loading of the truck. Scale House totals don't lie, so why take a chance on losing money and time with how many square feet, scoops, skips, and or dumps were made in loading the truck? Architects, public agencies, contractors, and owner-builders requiring a competitive bid for the materials and transport costs should E-mail us with material specifications, the amount and date needed, and the buyer's contact information. We typically employ trucks with carrying capacities ranging from 17 to 26.5 tons. Decomposed granite, crushed rock, gravel, sand, and similar materials are typically hauled in; Truck n Transfers from 24 to 26.5 tons, End-dumps from 24 to 25 tons Bottom and Side Dumps 25 tons Super-10's from 10 to 17 tons
