The installation of an Italian Bocce court provide an excellent way to spend afternoons and evenings having fun with family and friends. Oyster shell is used for creating the traditional playing surface material that covers a 3/8” minus decomposed granite base.

Mix 50 pounds of Bocce Court Oyster Shell per 200 pounds of ¼ inch minus decomposed granite or crushed stone fines. Next, transport that material for installation to the bocce court.

An Oyster Shell Bocce Ball court is much easier to care for and a do maintenance on. Clay courts develop extremely hard surfaces, so worn or uneven spots are difficult to correct. When oyster shell surfaces harden, they can be more easily loosened back up and re-graded to have an even, smooth, playing surface.

In most cases we charge by the ton and we have the receipts from the scale house at the quarry to show upon request. Materials sold by the yard tend to have very in-accurate amounts in the trucks. Amounts depend the size of the loader bucket, how well the material was scooped up and who was supervising the loading of the truck. Scale House totals don't lie, so why take a chance on losing money and time with how many square feet, scoops, skips and or dumps were made in loading the truck?

We typically employ trucks with carrying capacities ranging from 17 to 26.5 tons.

Product Samples
California Building Material Supply believes that for most consumers and end users of these landscaping or building material products the best location to view most of these products is at the actual site where they are going be used. This is particularly true for existing homes and commercial locations that are being renovated or re-landscaped. Samples of most materials can be delivered and evaluated by you on site for you to make the most informed choice possible. Materials are sold per the specification of the stone type, product brand and basic sizes.

Samples are shipped via United State Postal Service, Priority Mail. We can get about 16 pounds of material into a large flat rate box. Samples are sent with an invoice on Net 10 Day Terms. When ordering your samples use the Purchase Order function at checkout and enter SAMPLES. This will allow you to make a purchase without having to pay for the samples at that time.
